Setup CMS after install

After install the Content Management System, view the default demo site, you have to set up the system to your own site. This page shows you how to set up the CMS.

Set up your Website on CMS

In order to make your own site, you have to set up the CMS data at first. Click the "Article and Pages" button to open the document editor.

Then following document editor is shown.

Delete demo site

At first, you have to delete the demo site from CMS. Right click the Demo site and select "Delete this page" on the menu.

Then a dialog to confirm to delete it. so click "Delete this node" button.

Create your website

After deleting the site, there are no documents on the Content Management System. Therefore following pane is shown.

Push the "Create a new Website" button, then following dialog to input information about website's top page appears.

On this dialog, input theWebsite's name, and top page's title. And select the Page template as "Top Page". After input those information, click the "Create Page" button. Then a new website is created like above.

By double clocking the website, you can open the website's top page by WYSIWYG editor.

Set up Website setting

After creating your own site, you have to set up the site. Double click the website created last section to open with content editor on the right pane.

Https or http setting

After opening the top page with content editor, click the "Site Setting" tan on the editor pane. Then following pane appears on the right part of the page.

On this page, the domain setting and smartphone setting appears. At first, input the domain name into the "Domain Name" column. And select "Force https" column.

If you do not use https, the default setting is suitable, and if you use it, select "Redirect http to https" on the combo box of the "Force https" column.

After input them, click the "Add New Setting" button.

Smartphone and mobile Setting

If you use default template with customization, this setting is not necessary, because the responsive web design uses same Html file for both pc desktop and mobile browser.

Change Design

You have to change the template's design before release your new website. This CMS has component based template engine, therefore you can find where to customize easily.

At first, open the top of CMS administration console, and click the "Top Templates".

Then following page appears.

On this page, select the "Top Page" on the left pane, then following pane appears on the right area.

From this pane, you can open inner template parts to edit by pushing "Open and Edit" button of the template.

Edit Header and Footer

At first, you have to edit the header and footer parts. These parts are used in all of the template, therefore, once you edit them, you can change the design of whole website's page.


In order to edit the header's design, click the "Open and Edit" button on the header part. Then following page is opened with a new browser window.

Edit the footer parts

On the right part, there are source code of the header's html. the html code is below.

In this html part, there is a part to show the name of this website, the default name is "Your Website". At least, you have to do is to change the name.

After editing the Html, you have to change the Style Sheet of this parts. In order to show it, click the "Css" tab on the top of the right pane. Then, following page appears.

Edit the style sheet of header part

In this pane, you can edit the style sheet of the header parts. If you want to change the whole design of the header part, please change this.

After editing the Html and Style Sheet, click the "Save" button to save the template design. And after saved a new template, "Apply" button appears. When you click the button the design is applied to the website's design.

After changing the design of Header part, let's change the design of footer part.

The operation to do that is same with one of header part. By clicking "Open and Edit" button on the footer part, and open footer component with Html5 Component editor, and edit it.

The Html code of the footer is below.

In this part, you have to do is below.

  • Change the Copyright description on the bottom
  • Change SNS id into yours
  • Write your easy profile, and site introduction

After changing them, you can also change the Style Sheet by same operation with the header part.

Edit Social Bookmark widget

After changing the header and footer, you also have to change social bookmark widget on the right of the pages.

In order to open it, click the "Open and Edit " button on the "Middle of Top Page". Then you can open the middle part of the top page like below.

This part is made by Container Template, and it has 2 columns layout. There is the "Social Links" on the right part, so click the "Open and Edit" button on it.

Then following page, which is same with editor of the header and footer, appears.

Social bookmark widget's source code

By changing the id of social media, you can use the social bookmark widget. The default Html code is below.

In this code following social media's bookmark buttons are available.

  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Google Plus
  • Linkedin

If you do not use some social media, delete the button, and if you want to add other ones, add the code here.

Create Blog Section

In order to use blog with main contents managed with Content Management System, you have to build blog section on the content tree.

The blog section consists of following elements.

  • Blog Top
  • Blog Categories
  • Blog Articles

The top of the blog section is Blog Top page, and it includes categories and articles like following picture.

RSS and Sitemap Setting

RSS feed and Sitemap xml files are important tools in notifying the update to the search engines. By setting them, you can register them to the web master's tools of each search engine.

In order to edit these, open the top of the CMS administration console, and click "RSS and Sitemap".

Then following page to manage Rss and Sitemap setting appears.

In this page, you can set sitemap setting and RSS feed setting.

In the default setting, the sitemap outputs pages with "blog" and "content" Page Type. On most of the case, you do not have to modify it.

Check the setting and click the "Save" button. Then the "sitemap.xml" is generated.

RSS Setting

The page section to manage Rss feeds is following part.

In the default setting, there are 2 Rss feeds, they are for blog posts and whole page contents.

In order to set up the setting, click the "Edit" button on the Rss feed record. At first, click one of the blog's feed.

After clicking the button following dialog box appears.

At least, you have to do is change the Copyright into your name.

The Rss feed can select the page to be included in the file by following values.

  • Root directory of the page
  • Page Type
  • Keyword Tag which the page has

By setting these inputs, you can make custom Rss feed to submit to syndicate sites.

After setting them, click the "Update Rss" button, then the setting is saved.
